2008 Beneteau 40
The Beneteau 40 is the first of the era of boat where the beam has been carried all the way aft, creating a spacious cockpit and wide transom which facilitates the dual helms and allows for easy access from transom step into the cockpit. The boat has a long waterline and with the flatter bottom, it is fast and sails flatter than previous models. The hull shape allows for volume down below, where it really matters (above the waterline) and eyebrow windows with numerous hatches and 2 windscreens in the salon, give plenty of ventilation and light.

Tipping Point has been hauled every winter and bottom has been painted annually.
