2008 Beneteau 40

Dolphin Pal is the owner's version of the Beneteau 40 cruising sail yacht that was designed by naval architects Berret/Racoupeau with the stylizing colllaboration of Nauta Design for the interior. In the cockpit, the Beneteau 40 is appointed with two steering stations with navigation instruments nearby for ease of handling. The spacious and luminous interior of the Beneteau 40 is highlighted with rich, light colored select Maobi hardwood and stainless steel to create an essence of warmth and comfort.

The Beneteau 40 won the Best Midsize Cruiser title in Cruise World's Boat of the Year, when it was released. Dolphin Pal features 1 bright, airy and roomy king size berth aft and queen size V-berth forward, a head with separate shower to starboard at the foot of the companionway, and a spacious, L-shape galley to port. Several opening ports and hatches provide ample ventilation and light, and the luster of the moabi mahogany woodwork is accented by off-white upholstery and panels throughout the saloon, making for airy and cheery surroundings throughout. A roller-furling headsail and standard in-mast furling main make setting and dousing sails a simple task. Twin helm wheels provide good visibility of the rig on either tack.
